Why this structure
This screen is the center of the new IA: it separates quote-level sections from the actual quote line items, while still keeping everything inside one quote.
Navigation Principles
- Quote-level sections appear first because they apply to every downstream line item.
- Doors and openers are rendered as separate, peer-level lists to make the new hierarchy obvious.
- The total is always visible near the top to reinforce that this is one quote, not several mini-quotes.
Key Behaviors
- Add Door and Add Opener are independent actions.
- Each row needs completion state and quick summary text so the user can manage multi-item quotes without opening every editor repeatedly.
- The workspace should be the place where copy quote, PDF generation, and final validation also originate.
Spec Decisions Embedded Here
- Doors and openers are no longer nested under each other.
- Quote Details, Job Conditions, and Disclosures & Signatures stay stable and are accessed from this screen.
- The single-quote total is a first-class element, not buried in a footer-only review screen.
